I admit, this is the most unique set of headphones that I own. Have you ever tried bone conduction headphones? SO weird! So COOL!! And February, 2026, I am STILL USING them!!! First, unlike any pair of headphones or headsets, these do NOT go over your ears. These actually sit on the bone above your ears. Odd right?? Amazingly, the sound is crystal clear and comfortable. I was so comfortable with the sound level I was positive that the entire room could hear my music. I kept taking them off and listening. I finally asked the person sitting next to me if she could hear my music, not a single note. WHAAAAAAAA?!?! That’s amazing. I take 4-year-old Alice to an indoor play gym where she can run and play to her heart’s content. There are tables and couches for the adults to hang out. I bring my iPad with me and work. I don’t like tuning out all of the noise, because I need to know if Alice needs me. However, this place gets LOUD! So adding a little music means that The NaNa is happy to stay for as long as Alice wants to stay. (We are talking hours!!)…

If you have spent anytime at all here on Peanut Butter and Whine you have no doubt met our fur baby Gracie. A Golden Lab, yeah actually more like 100 pounds of shedding dog hair.  Having terra-cotta tile flooring throughout the house and it REALLY shows the dog hair! I can only imagine how bad the house would be if we had carpet!! I am beyond thrilled to share with you my review of the new Hoover WINDTUNNEL 3 High Performance PET Vacuum. Let’s dig right in!!  The Hoover WINDTUNNEL 3 arrived well-packaged with tools nestled snug in Styrofoam. Our vacuum arrived without a ding or scratch. I’m pleased to report that I only found 5 small, wayward pieces of foam after all the unpacking. (Is anyone else irritated when there is tiny balls of Styrofoam stuck to the product, the table, the floor and your person after unpacking products??) Assembly was easy! Only one Phillips-head screw was needed to attach the handle; everything else just snaps into place. I truly never thought I would ever say this about a vacuum, but this is a sleek and oh so PRETTY vacuum!!!  Deep red and gleaming silver! I couldn’t wait to…

Okay, okay I do not want to hear any ‘women drivers’ cracks! But, well, I took our new Monster Truck out for its inaugural run and, well, broke a Rear Connecting Rod. Yup. Snapped that puppy right in two. It took me ohhhh about 6 minutes. Thankfully, there are spare parts available on Amazon. This radio controlled Monster Truck is so much FUN!!! It’s FAST!! 35 miles-an-hour fast! I know that there are RC trucks and cars that go faster, but to me 35 miles-an-hour in a small 1/12 scale truck is pretty darn fast! I was having a blast with this truck!! I admit that I knew nothing about radio control cars and trucks and I did immediately go to FULL SPEED ahead! I raced this puppy like I was a Nascar driver! Had I started out slow and actually learned to control the truck first I wouldn’t have snapped the rear connecting rod. This truck is lightweight and looks rugged!! The car body is easily removed by removing 4 small pins. Once the pins are removed, you can unlatch the battery compartment. The battery unsnaps easily. The batteries charge in about 2 hours.
