• In Case You Missed It………

    bear

In case you missed it or if you are new here; I recently moved from California to a mountain in Sandpoint, Idaho. Wild animals everywhere! I’m getting such amazing pictures from my trail cams. I have been giddy with my pictures of deer, turkey’s, squirrels and chipmunks. I have some amazing pictures several that have been canvas worthy. Then one day a HUGE shock for this California girl I found we had been visited by a BEAR!! In MY YARD!!  A BEAR!!! A big ole cinnamon bear. WOOO. Now, greedy girl that I am I want a canvas worthy shot of the bear. DUH! Right?? So I bought myself a second trail cam. I have placed it several different spots where the animals seem to show up the most. Then this morning I had a brilliant idea! I stacked 2 logs together to make a ‘redneck’ tripod. I attached my camera. Went in the house. A couple hours (yes, only hours) later I went out the back door to turn on the sprinklers and did a full turn around in MID air because I saw a BEAR. No….. it’s my redneck tripod. GESH!!! Am I jumpy today or WHAT?!?!  …

Next up; today is The Husband’s birthday. Happy 65th Birthday to my split apart! My house update for June; windows mostly in. The installers are insane on their ladders 3 stories up. All of the rot around the windows makes me really nervous what the siding guys will find. Fingers crossed again! The inside doors are almost all replaced and the carpet?…

In order to grasp Istanbul’s rich history and enjoy it thoroughly, I highly recommended to Visit Istanbul with a tourist guide. Have a look at the places to visit in Istanbul alongside the history of the city and some nice photos. Byzantium, the First Name of Istanbul The official history of Istanbul dates back to 638 B.C. King Byzas and his entourage, which immigrated from the Megara colony of Greece. They arrived at Istanbul that was a fishing town back then and he founded the basis of the city by calling it Byzantium. When Byzantium became a developed city, it was already one of the most beautiful cities in the area. The Roman City Constantinople The city that Byzas founded existed as an ancient Greek city for around 800 years. It came under the rule of Roman Empire in 195 A.D. Constantine the Great, a famous Roman emperor, decided to move out of Rome in 330 and found a new capital for the empire. Despite having a lot of choices, his…
