    Data Driven World Business meeting

Sometimes having to sift through and interpret data can be an overwhelming task.  From numbers to charts, it all can be a little confusing at times. Most people would rather just skip to the conclusion instead of really diving into the numbers. Truth is it’s a data driven world now.  When running a business, that could lead to big problems.  The key component, however, to collecting data is that it needs to be relevant.  The data collection should be focused on your business plan.  Data that is irrelevant is a waste of time and makes looking at the numbers more daunting than it needs to be. The data can help to support your business goals or allow you the opportunity to create new goals to focus on moving forward. But fear not, there are ways to make this task a little bit easier to understand.  Today we will be looking at some of the reasons why data is important and some tools to help you better understand that data. Numbers Don’t Lie Professional athletes are able to negotiate outrageous contracts based on their statistics.  What they do on the field is clearly shown by their stats. The lower the stats,…

  • Crafting Time! Tumblers, T-shirts and bags!

    Crafting Time Tumbler Crafts

My Cricut Maker has been getting a heck of a workout lately.  Tt’s crafting time, and I’ve been creating a ton of towels, t-shirts and mugs but, all for other people. I snagged a set of plain black 12-ounce tumblers on Amazon. These things are aweeeeeeesome! Cold drinks stay cold. Hot drinks stay hot. I had a drink last night that the ice didn’t melt! Usually my drink is pretty well watered down before the last swallow. With this Schiipper tumbler I still had a cup full of ice at the end of my drink! Made of stainless steel in a Black finish with a fitted lid and sliding opening. These cups are unbreakable, made of 0.5mm stainless steel and stronger than any others. As in drop it on the floor and no worries! There are 2 stainless steel straws with their own cleaning brush plus 2 extra lid seals too!!!! Under $16. HOWEVER, the best part is these take vinyl perfectly!!!  I made a set for Selena and my sister got one but as I mailed them out I thought WHY don’t I get a set??! So, check these out! These are mine. First, how pretty is this soft turquoise…

    Automating Your Business Business meeting

Want to become better at giving presentations? Whether you’re hosting a college lecture or a business conference, here are 10 tricks that will help you to ace your next presentation. Learn to turn nervous energy into enthusiasm Pretty much everyone gets nervous when speaking in public. There are lots of different ways to deal with nerves such as pretending you’re speaking to a good friend or pretending everyone is naked – these methods may work for some people, but not for others. Rather than trying to contain the pre-presentation jitters, try instead to turn your nervous energy into enthusiasm. This makes it much easier to disguise shaking or heavy breathing or other unwanted nervous habits, by turning them into a sign of excitement. Remember to speak slowly – as lot of people speak too fast when nervous, and this could throw your entire presentation timings out the window. Use the 10 20 30 rule Nobody likes a presentation to trail on too long. Following the 10 20 30 rule will help to keep your presentation succinct and engaging so that your audience aren’t clock-watching or falling asleep. This rule states that you should use no more than 10 slides, speak…

Despite the growth in online shopping, many people still prefer shopping in person. No, it might not have the convenience of online shopping. But it has something better. Shopping in real life is an experience. As a retail customer, you get to touch products, speak to people, ask questions and enjoy the atmosphere. Yes, it takes longer than clicking a button, but you are more likely to come out of it with a product that you love and a smile on your face. If the store does it well, there are so many shops on the high streets that don’t. Big shops, with huge budgets, often make simple mistakes that mean that their stores don’t offer excellent customer experience and aren’t easy to shop. Here are some of the things to ask yourself if you are wondering if your store is easy to shop. Does Navigation Make Sense? Navigation is perhaps more important in a clothes shop, where there should be changing rooms, as well as pay points and stock. But…
