• Winter Preparedness Mountain Style

    Snow

Winter Preparedness, after the craft room clean-up that I posted about yesterday. I thought for sure that I would immediately be creating masterpieces right and left. I was WRONG!!! The Husband had other plans for me. Plans I did not particularly LIKE! But, since I do like to be warm in the winter I had to help. Sooooooooooo, pouting, chopping, and stacking wood took up the rest of last week. OUCH! Now not just my back hurts, my shoulders and MY HEAD hurts too! THANKFULLY, my feet don’t hurt.  Walking on uneven ground back and forth with arms full of wood to different piles, I’m just glad I have plenty of cushion in my boots.   Seriously, without those metatarsal pads, my feet would be killing me. WOW the picture of the wood pile against the barn doesn’t look all that impressive BUT, the pile is just over 4′ high. That’s just a gigantic barn. It has to be to house the John Deere, the side by side and, and, and …… farm stuff ya know? So, it really IS an impressive stack. I promise. Stackin’ Wood The second stack is the side door that goes out the garage. That is…

  • THAT! Was Painful!

    craftroom funny

WOW this last few weeks have been painful, And NOT just my back! If you’ve been around Peanut Butter and Whine for a while, you know that I am a self-proclaimed HOARDER!! I come from a very long line of Hoarders. My Grandpa; BIG TIME hoarder. My Dad blew him outta the water! With 480 acres in Yoder Colorado, my Dad tried his hardest to fill that place UP!!  See?? I didn’t stand a chance; hoarding is in my blood. My Idea Of Hoarding Now, we aren’t talking about magazines, newspapers, and trash. I promise I’m not ready to be on an episode of A&E’s Hoarders. (BUT, let’s not ask my children, just to be on the safe side).  I’m mostly talking about craft supplies. SOOOOOOO technically that’s not hoarding that’s considered a hobby?? Right?? My BFF Marilee came up to The Mountain to craft with me two weeks ago. My room was so disorganized, so FULL of STUFF that I spent a large amount of time LOOKING FOR THINGS that I KNEW I HAD!! It was so frustrating. So, when Marilee left, I went on a terror. That Was STUPID! I emptied 5 BIG cupboards (24″ deep and 36″…

  • How Do Cloud Faxes Work?

    Cloud based diagram

The cloud has revolutionized the way business is conducted, enabling companies to do more with less. This revolution also includes the way we send and receive faxes. If you’ve wondered, “How do cloud faxes work,” this article will provide a comprehensive overview, and explain the technology behind it, its security measures, its benefits, and why this service is overall important. Understanding the Concept of Cloud Faxing At the heart of cloud faxing is the principle of using online storage and processing for fax communication. Just as emails are sent over the internet, so too are cloud faxes. This elevates faxing from a landline-dependent activity into a flexible, modern communication method. Traditional faxing requires a dedicated line and hardware (fax machine or multifunction device). But in cloud faxing, an online service provider manages these necessities on your behalf. When faxes are sent, they’re transformed from a digital file into an image file. The image file is then sent to the cloud, where it’s stored and ready to be retrieved by the recipient. The recipient merely needs a device with an internet connection, not a specific line or machine. The Underlying Technology Behind Cloud Fax At the helm of cloud fax technology…

  • $50 YOUR Way Giveaway December 2023

    December Giveaway

November just FLEW by! Or was it just me? I was so busy in November. GESH! I have a couple of posts coming up in the next few days that will explain JUST how busy! I’m a tired girl. Nothing real in the way of news from The Mountain. We had one day of snow that melted the very next day. We’ve been lucky. I have a feeling Mother Nature is saving up all her energy for a snow-mageddon. We are stocked up with food and plenty of wood, the propane tank is full. The Bull (Good ole John Deere) is ready and roaring to go. We are as ready as we can be. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you may have missed my PUMPKIN. After Halloween, I put the BIG pumpkin out for the deer. I drilled holes in the shape of a smile. WHO knew the buck was such a Mickey Mouse fan?!? The next morning I went out to feed my deer, check on the pumpkin. IT WAS GONE!!! Who knew deer gangs were so sneaky?!?! I looked everywhere the pumpkin is GONE!! In my head (and Gloria’s and Tamra’s) we see a buck with…
