First Botany Cosmeceuticals Clove and Jasmine Essential Oils
I love essential oils. I use them for everything from cleaning, aromatherapy to mosquito repellent and everything in between.
I was given the chance to review two different oils from First Botany Cosmeceuticals. First is the Clove Leaf Essential Oil . Straight from the bottle, I’m not a fan of the scent. Add it to my aromatherapy device when it’s been diluted with water it smells very nice. Very woodsy. And it is a great mood lifter.
When you use Clove Bud essential oil you can use it as a pain reliever just be sure to delude it because this is a very concentrated oil. However, this bottle has a warning on the label that says for external use only. So you can use this on acne, because it’s a great antimicrobial, antifungal, antiseptic. Adding this to your cleaning products will not just have your house smelling good but kills all those germs! I am a huge essential oil user and I really prefer clove bud oil. This is a great oil just remember it’s safe for external use only.
When you create your concoction be sure to add a custom cosmetic labels so you know which bottle is for pain relief, acne or cleaning. Ya, you really don’t want to mix those up. Right??
This Clove Leaf oil arrives bubble wrapped, with a glass eye dropper wrapped separately.
This is a huge 4-ounce bottle. The oil is clear and on the oily side.
Next up is the Jasmine Essential Oil . Another 4-ounce large amber bottle with a glass dropper. I really like that First Botany Cosmeceuticals oils are in such large GLASS bottles with glass eye droppers.
This is a very strong scented essential oil. The first time I added Jasmine Oil to my diffuser I added an eye dropper full. WOW! Too strong! Way TOO much oil!! This one is powerful! A couple of drops is all you need to enjoy exotic, sweet jasmine. This bottle will last me for a long time.

I love mixing essential oils together in my diffuser for my own unique scent. Adding the Jasmine and Clove together makes a really great scent that is woody and sweet. While the Clove is not my favorite, I am very happy with the Jasmine essential oil! Great size for the bottles. These will last me a long time.

I love using essential oils for cleaning also. I’ve never tried either of these scents before though. I’ll have to try them. 🙂

I’ve never tried clove oil in my diffuser. I do use it if I get a toothache and it works well.

Clove is definitely a STRONG scent, lol. I remember making these ‘air fresheners’ as a kid in Brownies (sort of junior girl scouts.) We would take an orange & stick cloves into it until it was pretty covered. You got the orange scent & the clove scent together. I bet my Mom secretly hated those, lol! But I think mixing the jasmine & clove might be great.

I will have to give these two a try. I have been using essential oils for about six months now and I love them. I love using them in my diffuser also. Thank you so much for sharing

I’ve never tried clove leaf oil before but always have a bottle of clove bud oil in the medicine cupboard. Great for toothache. sore gums and the like but ALWAYS diluted or it will burn the skin. Great sized bottles too by the way!
