Craft Day Friday
Today’s craft I plan to use as place card holders around the Thanksgiving Dinner table. They are SOOO CUTE!!! There are 2 different looks. Both are super cute and SUPER easy!! Wooden Turkeys Here’s what you need: Wooden Doll Head Beads for the body. We used 1.1/4″ Wooden Bead for the head. We used 1″ Wooden flat hearts in size 1.1/4” for the feet Wooden flat hearts in 1″ for the feathers Small googly eyes the smallest you can find. Pipe Cleaners or twine Glue gun Acrylic Paints we used Brown, Red, Yellow and Orange Let’s make some TURKEYS! Paint the head and body beads one color. We used a light brown. Paint the large hearts in dark brown to use as the feet. Emma figured out the beads were easier to paint with our fingers! She’s brilliant!! Glue the larger of your beads to the brown large bead. Ohhhh my GOSH!!!!! Have you ever seen such a cute outfit on SUCH a cute baby!?!??!?!?!Thank you! THANK YOU!! Thank you Cutie Pa Tutus!!!! I won this ADORABLE outfit from Cutie Pa Tutus!! The giveaway was hosted on Mommy & Me GiveawaysThis is the CUTEST outfit!!! I was so sad when Alice outgrew her Denver Broncos jammies. But I am GIDDY over this tutu set!! Alice will be sporting this Bronco Baby tutu for a long time!!! The tutu is so well made!! The pompoms are sewn inside the tutu!! The color is PERFECT!!! OMG this is soooo CUTE!!!!!!!! Thank you!!! Storytime Yoga
I won a copy of Storyland Yoga from Parent Palace. I am in LOVE with this video!!!!!! Emma is 3, Eli is 19 months and they had a BLAST!!! This is the first time playing the Storyland Yoga dvd and the kids kept up with NO PROBLEMS!!!!! Ahmed Fahmy is a wonderful instructor. The kids were 100% enthralled with Ahmed’s story telling that go along with instruction for the poses. Storyland Yoga is so much fun!! It’s easy to follow allow along Ahmed. There is enough time between poses for the kids to follow along. AND…. here’s Nonnie’s big bonus!!! It’s exercise!! THEY were TIRED afterwards!! Ahhhhhhhh 10 minutes of quiet!! Slippery Willie’s Stupid, Ugly Shoes
I was able to review a super cute children’s book called “Slippery Willie’s Stupid, Ugly Shoes” by Larry Peterson. Such a cute story about a boy Willie who “had slippery feet. They were so slippery that Willie just slipped, slid and spun all over the place”. Willie gets new “Stupid, Ugly” shoes that help him walk without slipping, but they are so ugly that Willie doesn’t want to wear them. What I like the most about this story is the message that kids (us adults too!!) we sometimes worry about things so much that we make it a much bigger deal than it really is. This story also helps children see that we all have differences. Differences are good! It makes us special. Slippery Willie’s Stupid, Ugly Shoes stresses that it’s okay to be different in a way that kids understand. The book is geared to 4 to 8-year-olds. But, I read it out loud to my Granddaughter Emma (3) and she enjoyed it.…

BabyT and I visited Mommy at the Police Station today. (I should just leave it at that … cause that’s kinda funny for those that don’t know she works there.) Anyyyyywayyyyy. First… P.D.?? not big fans of the Raiders! Second… if your mommy works in impound it doesn’t take much to get impounded into evidence. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh maybe she was impounded beCAUSE she wore the Raider outfit!?!?!? Impound locker I’m giving some of my older posts a little SEO spa day.
