I am kinda excited about this particular Photo-A-Day T prompt because this old gal climbed up into the tree house! Yes, I DID!!! I will totally cop to the fact that I was shaking, white knuckling the climb. I kept hearing the contractors’ warnings about the deck. Same people that built the deck built the tree house……. hummmmmm should this chunky 60 year-old gal reallllllllllly be going up here?? With only the DOG as back up?!?!? Yeah, well I promised that voice in my head a full glass of wine if she just quieted down so I could take a bunch of pictures. At ONE time there were even glass windows in this tree house (yes, another to-do has been added to my list. Go clean up the glass surrounding the tree house) There are curtains, carpet and a small table inside. The curtains are old and tattered and give the tree house a scary look and feel inside (Or…

I bet you thought I would be stumped with the Photo-A-Day Q letter especially after the letter G gave me such a hard time. BUT, you would be wrong!! Q is for quiet. AND NOOOOOOO I am not going to end my post here. Although that does sound like something I would and have done. Nope. Today while Bear and I went on our morning hour and a half hike I stopped and took a video so you could enjoy the surroundings and the quiet around us as we hike. It’s different every. single. day. No matter which way we go we see something different. This is such a beautiful hike. Bear thinks it’s the greatest thing EVER!! Afterwards she sleeps all day and lets me craft, so it’s a win-win.

So I am trying my hardest to figure a way to use the Photo-A-Day N with the fact that I finally did it!! I FOUND an ANTLER!! Ya know an aNtler! Bear and I have been going out on a morning hike, which for me is unheard of! I am climbing rocks. I am dinged and dented, scratched and sweaty but having so much FUN!! There is no noise other than the birds and bear and I traipsing around. Antlers or SHEDS as the locals call ’em. (Aren’t I fancy? Knowin’ all the correct terms and everything!) are hard as heck to spot! Since no one has lived here for so long they are hidden under the brush and pine needles. Now that I’ve found one I am so anxious to find more. I did also find several golf balls. Again, not an N. Of course, not an N but I did capture a cute little fawn with my trail…

Ahhhhhhhhhhh today’s Photo-A-Day L letter just happens to coincide with Mother’s Day and our Anniversary! So I will take this opportunity to use the letter L for LOVE. The LOVES of my life!! Hummmm….…. should I be politically correct and add The Husband first? It is our anniversary after all. Or should I just skip straight to Alice?? (Okay I’m going to start with The Husband; but y’all know the truth right?!?!) Cause really, I am NOT that nice! The Husband; without him the rest of my LOVES wouldn’t fall into place. Thank you for all you do. All the love you give. All your hard work to provide a wonderful life for all of us. Now with all the hard work on our money pit I MEAN new home!!
