Refreshing My Old Blog Posts: The Good, The Bad, and The 404s
Updating an old
blog post is a lot like an archaeological dig. You expect a quick “dusting” and end up unearthing a series of questionable life choices from 2014. I recently opened a “quick update” only to find:
- Missing Images: Key tutorial steps now require “imagination.”
- Dead Links: Half my brand partners have rebranded as “AI Crypto Collectives.”
- Antique Fonts: Styles that haven’t been cool since the dial-up era.
Why I’m Optimizing This Blog
It’s not glamorous, but fixing broken links and whispering “Pick me!” to Google makes the site faster and easier for you to find. I’m not spiraling; I’m just cleaning up the
blog ghosts.
While You’re Here…
