My only fear of smart homes is the day when nothing works, lol. As long as I have an ‘over-ride’ button to turn it off & make everything go back to doing it manually, I’m good, though.

Smart home would be awesome for getting the bathroom cleaned as that is the job I hate the most. Love when it’s done but quite the chore getting it done.

I’m old enough to remember watching ‘The Demon Seed’ back in the ’70s where computers run the household and things go very, very wrong!

I would to love having a smart house that kept me aware of everything that was happening in & around my house if I were away. I’m sure the ability for houses to do this already exists, I just haven’t been able to afford it in my own house yet lol. My children, however, would likely agree with Miss Alice’s homework wish for a smart house (lil cutie!)

I would like a smart home that would let me know when I am ready to run out of something. I ALWAYS forget to add something on a shopping list. If a Smart Home could list everything whether it be food, cleaning, or health and beauty products that I am running low on I would be soooo happy! 🙂

Has technology gone too far? Maybe. Some aspects of a smart home are really appealing in my opinion, but I am sure their are glitches/hackers/etc that would make me nervous!

I would like a self-cleaning home, ha! But my experiences with tech tell me that Murphy’s Law applies, so it better be able to go back to a plain old home at the drop of a hat.

Tell Alice ‘well done’ from me please! I don’t think I’d like a smart house although my sister has always said that she’d like to be able to automatically trap any spiders or creepy crawlies that appear!

All the ideas in the video are great especially about the homework!! I would like the device that would analyze all my appliances and tell me which ate ready to be replaced before the washer or the stove or the frig dies on me….
