My First Giveaway for 2023! Happy New Year Little Peanuts!!! 2023 has come in with a vengeance, hasn’t it!! Because BABY it’s cold here in Idaho!! We’ve been in the negative numbers for so long that I practically live under my heated throw! My First Craft Fair Remember last month when I said I was going to dip my toe in the craft fair pool?? I made some snarky Christmas t-shirts, and I am GIDDY THEY SOLD!!! OHMYGOSH!!! They sold!!! I can sell stuff!!! THEY SOLD!!! People bought my t-shirts!! December’s $50 Your Way Giveaway
This is the last giveaway of 2022!!! Hard to believe that 2023 is only 31 days away. Holy Guacamole Batman this year went fast. BUSY MONTH! My November was busy. Between the emergency trip to California to a slew of medical appointments for The Husband, November went FAST! I didn’t even get to make everyone crazy by putting up my Christmas decorations on November 1st!! I feel all outta sorts because of it! As a matter of fact (get ready to gasp!) I gave serious thought to NOT decorating at all this year! I KNOW RIGHT?!?! Me the 3 different trees and a million different decorations. Lucky for me The Husband pouted until I gave in and decorated on Thanksgiving Day. I can NOT be responsible for The Husband getting coal in his stocking because of all that pouting. Before I start the giveaway spiel here is my October recap. But first, do you realize that there are only 61 days left of 2022!?!? That can’t be right can it!?! Yet Alexa tells me it’s true. That’s nuts! Time…. tooo fast! My October just flew by! Mostly because of a family tragedy, Son-in-Law Dan lost his Dad. I flew to California so that Dan could go be with his parents in Tennessee. Dan did make it there in time and now is with his Mom to help her through these first weeks. Although it was a sad reason to be in California I get to be with Alice for Halloween, which does make me so happy. I return home from California on the 6th of November. July’s $50 Your Way Giveaway!
Yeeee haaaaa it’s July’s Giveaway. Non-camp 2022 is going strong. Being retired and well, OLD you forget that 11-year-old girls don’t need to breathe. They can talk and talk and talk. (I KNOW! The nut doesn’t fall from the tree, that irony is NOT lost on me). Pre Teens are HARD WORK!! We’ve crafted, hiked, cooked (AND cleaned up our mess too!!) We’ve gone fishing and caught sticks. I swear there are no fish in Lake Ponderay. We’ve Goodwill shopped where I learned that, had kept all my old clothes from the 70’s Alice would be the happiest kid in the world. I swear if it has fringe, tie dye or well just anything hippie style she’s in LOVE and must have. I think I will need to buy another suitcase just to get her home! Happy May Little Peanuts! Are you ready for May’s Giveaway? I am ready for some sunshine. Idaho can’t decide if it wants to snow, rain, or just be gloomy. So much so that it will do it all at the SAME TIME!! I am ready for some hiking and kayaking. April SUCKED April wasn’t exactly a great month for The Husband! First, a nasty MS attack that put him back in a wheelchair. then adding insult to injury The Husband was diagnosed with Wet Macular Degeneration which requires a SHOT IN THE EYE!! WITH a NEEDLE!! Hello, little Peanuts are you ready for Aprils Giveaway? This month’s update is rather boring. I actually had to scroll through pictures on my phone to think of what I did in March. I was thinking that we didn’t do a hell of a lot. AND THEN I REMEMBERED! Got the car stuck on the drive. The driveway was solid ice. I slid backward and truly thought we were going over the side down the mountain. After three of those tries, The Husband brought out the tractor. While he was adding the shovel to the tractor our tenant Patty pulled up behind my car. While we were chatting, her car started sliding backward all I could do was cover my eyes.
