Trail Cam Friday September 12, 2025
Look at me! Two weeks in a row for Trail Cam Friday. In case you missed week one…. you can check it out here. You KNOW that the first snow this WOSPORTS digital trail camera is going ON THE HOUSE! I am NOT hiking down the mountain in the snow. Nope. Nope. I moved the camera further down the tree trunk (AGAIN!!) I did leave the camera in the spot it has been in. I am still debating a different location, I just haven’t decided where. (Too many choices!) Okay shot number 3 made me twist my head, zoom in, twist my head THE OTHER way. What the heck is happening here? Thankfully, the very next shot was a video. Yes, this did make me laugh. Ya know what would help me? If these visitors were to wear numbers. Or hats, OR something that would help me tell them apart!?!?! I have no idea if these are the same 6…

Trail Cam Friday Is BACK!!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve done Trail Cam Fridays. I am going to REALLY try hard to continue this series. The pictures with the WOSPORT Digital Wildlife Camera are amazing. So, it should be easy. Right?! AGAIN! I think I still have the camera up too high. The deer seem to want to up close and personal with this camera. Gesshhhh! Talk about conceded….”I’m ready for my CLOSE up Mr. DeMille”. Time to hike down the mountain again. In the meantime learn more about this cool camera here. I THINK I should move the camera to a greener spot and make the background prettier? This summer in Sandpoint, Idaho has been so dry and hot that so many areas on the mountain are brown and ugly. I do have some really pretty green areas but, I am hesitant to move the camera because the deer really seem to really like this spot. Ohhhh who knows what I…

SOMEONE Has New Trail Cam!! That Someone is ME!!
I gotta tell ya, Trail Cameras have come a very long way!! This digital wildlife camera from WOSPORTS has just blown me away! AND ALL I DID was UNBOX it so far!!! (sorry for yelling, but I am SO EXCITED!!) Some of the best perks Basically, 940nm is an Invisible Light:.The 940nm wavelength falls beyond the visible spectrum for most creatures, acting as invisible illumination for night vision devices and cameras. AND No Visible Flash:.When the camera captures an image, the 940nm IR LEDs illuminate the scene without producing a visible red glow or flash that animals can see and be scared by. Do ya see it??? I can NAME MY CAMERA!!!!!! Ohhhh if you could have only seen me clapping and doin’ a little dance!! THAT is the coolest thing!! MORE to love! The camera will work and MINUS 4 degrees! YES! -4. This is Idaho…. I need that. Let’s Take A Hike And Hide The Camera! Now, y’all remember…

Hello April!! Giveaway Win $50 Your Way! April 2021
Hello Peanuts, who’s ready to Win $50??!! Who else is ready for spring!? I’m absolutely ready to say goodbye to the snow. Mostly I am ready to say goodbye to the season of the mud. Seriously, the road is so bad my 4 wheel drive car can’t drive through it. Now, I love my mountain life, don’t get me wrong. I may not want to go anywhere but knowing I CAN’T, that makes me nuts. (I know, spoiled!) Besides the mud we have flowers starting to pop up. My tomato, blueberries and house plants are going NUTS!! I’m so HAPPY!! My only other ‘not boring’ news was the freak windstorm we had a couple days ago. Talk about some strong window rattling wind! It was NUTS!! I caught video’s with my a new Trail Cam from Ecovox! It takes some amazing pictures but I had a wild hair and thought I would see how it did with video. Now mind…

Trail Cam Friday 8/14/2020
First a shout out to Miss Barbra!! Happy BIRTHDAY!!! Now, on to the photos. I thought I would start with the new Trail Cam from Coolife. I’m impressed with the pictures! The spot is pretty good too. Apparently, it’s a deer-only path because that is ALL this camera picked up. But it picked up a couple of great shots of the fawn! The second trail cam is set up on the side of the house pointing down toward the lake. This camera I hadn’t checked in quite a long time. This one picked up turkeys the most, followed by our girl Bear, a real bear, some deer and a mystery dog. Last but not least the main trail cam that faces the house. Only deer. I think I will move one of the cameras to right outside my craft room door and see who comes to visit there….. And the final picture worth posting is proof that are yard is…

Trail Cam Friday 7/17 SHE’s BAAAAACKKKK!!!!
Trail cam shows that my friend the bear is back!! (Yes, I know…. the bears are not my friends….. I know I would be a tasty treat. I know that is how I will die…….. but it looked so sweet and fluffy will be my last words.) I have absolutely no idea what the bright spot is, maybe it’s a SIGN that says “Pet me here!” in really tiny letters. MAYBE it’s a PET collar!!! The only other interesting pictures are the squirrel, rabbit and chipmunk all together. A few deer for good measure. This picture intrigues me. Is it a bat?? If it is why isn’t it using it’s bat house?!? From the second trail cam we only got a couple of fairly good shots. And that is all for this week. Carry on Little Peanuts!
