Trail Cam Friday! July 3, 2020
FINALLY! Gesh, seems like forever since I’ve had anything even a little interesting trail cam picture to share. I am hoping that I can capture some fireworks from the top deck tomorrow and maybe something on the trail cam? I dunno. Fingers crossed. So this week the deer are back. Including a young buck with tiny little antlers. One very conceded turkey that seems to be saying “I’m ready for my close-up” and my little bear cub. No sign of the ma’ma in these shots. Of course, I had to share one shot that showed we actually had some blue sky!! Can I get a whoop whoop!? So, not the best pictures but, some pictures are better than no pictures. Right? RIGHT!! Trail Cam Friday April 24
Better late than not at all right?? RIGHT!! Trail Cam Friday is here. This time I took some snap shots of my walk to the trail cams so I could show you where I have them stashed. I did that mostly in case I had no interesting pictures. Hedgin’ my bets. It’s a pretty walk. I also snapped a picture so you can see just how well the trail cam blends into the tree. No wonder I loose them so many times. From the trail cam at the end of the driveway. We got a couple of good shots. Nothing really spectacular. Mostly, The Husband walking Bear. Then of course the mad dash when we shake the corn bucket and everyone comes a runnin’ 2nd stick…….. My BEAR is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot WOOT!! I absolutely love watching my bears. They look soooo cuddly. (Yes, I know I will no doubt die petting something I shouldn’t have!) Have a wonderful Friday all!!…

Trail Cam Friday April 17
Seriously, these animals are NOT cooperating with the whole Trail Cam Friday premise! WHAT THE HECK!?!? Do they not understand that I need some real pictures??? I may cut back on their corn if they aren’t more cooperative. The night shot is only because of the littttttle tiny white something in the bottom right. There also was an operator error in one camera. ONE camera you move the switch to the right to turn it on. The other, you guessed it … to the left. So one trail cam wasn’t on at ALL. I can not win! BTW the whole to the left to the right thing….. I have to share a quick story. I downloaded the TikTok app. There are some hysterical videos on there. I had to stop watching them at night because I’m awake until 1 or 2 in the morning trying not to laugh so loud I wake The Husband (not very successfully either!) I also…

Trail Cam Friday April 9
Well, trail cam Friday is NOT cooperating this week. The most interesting shot was this one! Ahhh the elusive UPS truck. Of course, turkey’s always want their pictures taken. So at least there is that………… All is not lost when I have my camera with me on my hikes. Soooooo here are a few shots I snapped this week as I hiked. Remember the wind storm that we had in March? We lost 30 some trees. BIG 70′ plus trees. To give you an idea of the size of roots I took a picture of my hand with the root. Seriously, the holes that these pulled up trees are DEEP! Seriously, gonna take a lot of work to fill up. Then, I found a stump that was so unique. Then a tree growing between two very large boulders. Truly an amazing sight. It was a great hike. Trail Cam Friday!!
Trail cam Friday is a DUD this week. Well, this weeks pictures are kinda Ahhhhhhhhh. Bucks are back. TONS of deer. Nothing spectacular though. So, tomorrow I will be moving the trail cam again. HOPEFULLY we will catch our moose. I can hear them just haven’t gotten them on camera this year. So hopefully next Friday’s pictures will be aweeeeeeeeeeesome!!

Trail Cam Friday!
Trail Cam Friday is late going up because truthfully I thought today was THURSDAY!!!! It’s 11:15 in the morning and I caught a glimpse of something on TV and it said Friday blah blah blah and I looked at The Husband and the conversation went like this: “Is this DVR’d?” “No” “What day is this?” “Friday why?” Okay, what happened to THURSDAY!? Did I enjoy it? Did I sleep through it?! Anyway, I went out and grabbed the trail cam real quick. Nothing really exciting. Lot’s of deer. No other critters this week. I do need to move the trail cam since a lot of the snow has melted and find a prettier spot! Since there wasn’t many trail cam picture I substituted a few from my phone. I’ve told you before that I know when my Mom’s spirit is around because I will find random hearts. Today (Valentines Day! BTW HAPPY Valentines Day!) when I was on the treadmill…
