• Trail Cam Friday!

Trail cam pictures from Sandpoint Idaho

After last weeks trail cam FINGERPRINT mishap, (YES! I do hold a grudge!) The first thing I did was go out and clean the camera lens.     Lens cleaned. Here is what our guests were up to this week. First some “Hey, ummm move over’s” a few “dancin’ struttin’ their stuff-ers” Then the snow bank that I had placed the trail cam on…… well, it melted and then there were 2 days of SKY!! And an EYE! Camera attached to the tripod The Husband built for me and then there was some romance. (Outside. Tsk Tsk! Shame on you for that line of thinking! You know who you are! MISS BARBARA!!) Then the turkeys showed up and wagged their tail feathers. Then a couple of just plain cute little shots. No bears, no raccoons and not mystery animals this time around. There is always next week!! I was going to move the camera back to the area around my craft room. HOWEVER, it’s been snowing the last two days soooooooooo it looks like the trail cam stays where it is for now, between the house and barn.

  • Trail Cam Friday

I moved the trail cam to the left of our garage door instead of outside my craft room.  My thoughts were: A. easier to get too (true)  B. better variety of pictures (false) So, these are not the best pictures for the week. Granted, it’s been icky outside. It’s either snowing or raining or both at the same time. Seriously cloudy and gray all day. HOWEVER!!! (See?? Y’all knew I’d find something good! RIGHT?!!?!?) The snow, rain, mist produced some really cool effects for this weeks pictures. Of course, I believe I caught a flying saucer yet AGAIN!! Then these were too funny NOT to share. Bear investigating the camera and The Husband pouring corn at justttttttt the right angle that had me doing a double take. See if you do a double take as well. Last picture is really the only picture that really shows the amount of traffic we get. One of these guys is missing an antler. I’m hoping it’s close! I call DIBS!!! I really do love my wildlife photos!

Trail Cam picture from Sandpoint Idaho

As you know we have gotten a LOT of snow. Waist high on me! Taller than Bear! It’s stunning but it’s COLD!! The trail cam captured some great action shots, like falling snow. Starting with my two favorite shots.  One when the tree dropped all the snow. Second when the smaller deer tells the other “LOOK over there!! It’s ELVIS!!” Last week, I accidentally reset the calendar. So these pictures started on the 9th and stopped on the 15th. Technology when it’s cold outside is NOT my friend. These next few are from a second trail cam Okay trudging back to the trail cam. Hopefully, not to be dumped on with snow… mostly because there is no stick in the camera and it would be a wasted funny picture! Back, safe and sound. But it is gorgeous outside right now.

  • What’s on The Trail Cam Friday!

    Trail Cam pictures Sandpoint Idaho

These trail cam pictures really show our wacky winter weather this season. Pffffffffffffftttttttt say that 3 times fast!!! One day tons of snow (Could have 16 feet this weekend!! SIXTEEN!?!?) then the rain melts the snow. Spoiler alert! We had a halfa sunshine day!! I have the pictures to prove it!! So here are our friends. Please note how big these bucks are getting. Still no sign of the moose on camera. Although we can hear them and see hoof prints……… yeah I know …. move the trail cam. I will try to remember and get out there before it’s buried under SIXTEEN feet of snow! But first…. DO you see that blue sky?! WOOO HOOO!! Next up is my weird shot! Does anyone else see a face??  This last shot is from the top deck and I swear I see a face! Well, that’s it for this week. I’ll be moving the trail cam again I WILL get that moose shot again!!!
