Photo-A-Day For April Slowly
When I saw today’s prompt for the Photo-A-Day I immediately thought of Michele and her newly done driveway! I thought ya know what I HAVE THE PERFECT set of pictures!!! See this is how my mind works. Michele has a new drive and I put that together with me having to walk SLOWLY to the front door because of the walkway. Seriously, who designs a walkway that is so uneven? It’s pretty. But, when you come visit walk SLOWLY! SERIOUSLY!! Watch where you step and walk up to the door slowly! It is a beautiful view to the house so it’s easy to forget to look down. See the little rocks? Those are courtesy of the 4 legged guests you will see below. Digging for MY FLOWERS!! Some of our guests are very sure footed, flower eating cute! Here is another Photo-a-Day post for you how about iSpy

April 8th, Photo-A-Day Treasure
Today’s Photo-A-Day is Treasure. Wayyyyyyy back when The Husband and I went through a time; like everyone does where you struggle to make ends meet. Like send the electric bill to the the phone bill people just to try and stretch out the time before the phones went dead. It was Christmas time and we were struggling to put presents under the tree. I hit every Goodwill, Amvets, and thrift store within a 25 miles radius. I washed, ironed and wrapped presents. I made toys. We really stretched our budget to the max for Christmas. Then I did something sooooooooo stupid. I used a large portion of my budget for a (at the time) very frivolous purchase at a thrift store. I mean, I had NO BUSINESS buying this! What was it? Well, a picture. A beautifully framed picture. I swear I walked away from the picture TWICE!! Then as I walked away the third time I saw another lady…

April 7th Photo-A-Day When I Wake Up
Photo-A-Day When I wake up. Prepare to be jealous. I still can’t believe the amazing view we are blessed with. When we lived in California our view was bumper to bumper cars on the street. An apartment complex. A yard with dirt so hard that nothing would grow and a house that seemed to shrink every year. Our new master bedroom is bigger than 4 rooms combined in the Vista house. The area of town we lived in was getting worse and worse by the day. Even with double paned windows the noise outside from stereos, cars and what seemed to be endless parties would make the walls shake. Our new home in Sandpoint, Idaho is a total 180° from the house in Vista. First, the house is big enough that The Husband and I aren’t constantly side by side. Which is a huge factor to my sanity!!! Being retired and together 24/7 The Husbands survival depends on this!! The…

April 6th Photo-A-Day In The Kitchen
Day 37 of my own personal Photo-A-Day challenge. SWEEEEEEEET!!! If you are new here I have hit a rut with my blogging so I decided to share pictures from our new home in Sandpoint, Idaho. The entire month of March I dedicated to my amazing craft-room. It’s HUGE!!!! It’s also very chaotic at times. Okay most of the time, let’s not dwell on the mess! I actually prefer to call it a creative process. I like that! I’m going to keep using it. Aside from scaring several people with my mess, the sheer size of the room or the dolls. Soooo sorry Heather! Guess I should have put a warning before the pictures of Suzy?? So today I’m trudging up 17 stairs for a picture From The Kitchen. Soooooooo y’all know me I couldn’t decide if that was a picture standing in the kitchen? Something I MADE in the kitchen? Look OUT from the kitchen. Gesh!! Inside my head is…

April 4th Photo-A-Day Childhood Toy
Photo-A-Day a Childhood toy. Seriously? This prompt has my eyes wiggin’ out!! Which ONE of my childhood toys to share? OF COURSE I have toys!! I mean helllllllllllo, have these past Photo-A-Day pictures not made you a believer when I say I AM A HOARDER?!? One of my all-time favorite toys was actually my Moms. When my Mom was 5 she wanted a brown eyed babydoll. This was at a time when most of the dolls had blue eyes. Leave it to my Grandpa to find a brown haired, brown eyed doll at the Goodwill!! By the way, did you know that the Goodwill has been around since 1902?? And in the United States since 1915?? I had no idea! This is Suzy. Suzy has a wind-up heart; which is a ticking noise. My late sister Patty was terrified of this doll. Sooooooooooo wanna know why my sister sends her spirit to haunt me? On-naa-counta I may have wound up…
