After work I went and hung out with my friend Kathy, her house should be in Architectural digest it’s so amazing!!  A seriously phenomenal house! Add a jacuzzi and pool that puts the cherry on top. Now are ya ready to join me in the jealousy room? I thought so.  Anyway, I sat in that jacuzzi until I turned into a prune.  I also had time to plan a way to move my stuff in… cause really…… her house is so big I’ll bet it would be at least a year before she found me!! So if I go missing?  Shhhh don’t call for me at Kathy’s. I’ll be back eventually!!  Ya know, like when Kathy finds…

Today would have been my little brother Mike’s 47th birthday.  Not an easy day to get through.  AND rather hard to find a light hearted, funny or even sarcastic note to add here.  So today all you get is Happy Birthday Mike!!  Ya know Mike, you sure went out of your way not to have Mom come live with you.  (OH LOOK!! I did make it sarcastic.  Wait… that was mean…. I always get those 2 confused!!)

Today was so busy at work. I could have used a pair of roller skates!!!!!!  Which is what brings me to the Public Service Announcement part:  Monday morning at the doctors office is BUSY!  VERY VERY VERY busy!  So… give the  receptionist at least an hour after the office opens to take care of all the people that have lined up outside……. trust me you won’t be on hold near as long!!  (It will also keep said receptionist SANE as well as keeping me her from forgetting which line I left you on hold!)

I have the cutest grand kids IN the WORLD!!  They are brilliant!  I know I’ve told you before but I like to brag!  Yesterday, I received a thank you card in the mail.  How adorable is this??? I have no updates on project “Mom’s movin’ in” except this big ‘ole hole in FRONT of the house. Ummmm the room addition is going on the BACK of the house.  I think I need to look at the plans again!  It’s also a good thing we don’t have little kids here, the hole has been there over 3 weeks now. In construction I believe this is called moving fast.

Yes, I know I am gullible (is that the word I want? or is it naive…. hummm). Either way, DH tells me I’m both (And I have been for a long time too!) but did you know that there are sex blogs??  I had no IDEA!!!!  Okay did ya’all here that noise?  That was my 3 children gasping all in unison “OHMYGOD MOTHER”.  Don’t worry….. I am not going to start blogging about sex.  (ahhhh did you hear that sigh?  That was louder than the gasp!) I would NEVER blog about sex!! on this site at least.  Ohhhh man!!!  I may have just lost 3 loyal readers.  My poor children. Tormenting them is one of my greatest…

I know I’ve posted this before, but it’s such a great video it needs to be watched again.  Every once in a while I will show this to a patient and it starts me laughing again. (In other words, I couldn’t think of anything to write about tonight … but we’ll just pretend it’s because I want you to start your weekend off with a laugh!)Happy Friday!!

Seriously! It’s JULY!!!  You’re not supposed to have to wear a sweater in JULY!!!  It’s 60 degrees right now in Southern California!!?!??  I may rethink knitting a scarf and just start a blanket instead!!

WHAT??????????? Now if that doesn’t strike your fancy you could “Name a FRECKLE!!” AGAIN it SOLD??? And if that STILL doesn’t sound like something you want or need……I do take donations.  No reason….. I won’t grow you a potato…. no you can’t name my freckles……  it would make me happy and really isn’t that a good enough reason??
