Trail Cam Friday July 9th
I just have to laugh! THIS time I had a few animals but have thousands, YES, thousands of leaf pictures!! Every time the wind blew, this leaf moved, the camera took a picture. Yes, that’s 18 folders each with 999 pictures. I would say 98% of the pictures are of that leaf. It’s like the camera and Mother Nature were so proud of their Decorating With Earth Tones that they both wanted tons of pictures. So, pretty leaf right!?!? Ackkkkkkkkkk!! Moving camera tonight. We did have a few deer, bunnies and turkeys swing by. No bears. At least I don’t believe there were bears, could be some behind that leaf.…

Trail Cam Friday! July 3, 2020
FINALLY! Gesh, seems like forever since I’ve had anything even a little interesting to share. I am hoping that I can capture some fireworks from the top deck tomorrow and maybe something on the trail cam? I dunno. Fingers crossed. So this week the deer are back. Including a young buck with tiny little antlers. One very conceded turkey that seems to be saying “I’m ready for my close-up” and my little bear cub. No sign of the ma’ma in these shots. Of course I had to share one shot that showed we actually had some blue sky!! Can I get a whoop whoop!? So, not the best pictures but,…

Trail Cam Friday April 24
Better late than not at all right?? RIGHT!! This time I took some snap shots of my walk to the trail cams so I could show you where I have them stashed. I did that mostly in case I had no interesting pictures. Hedgin’ my bets. It’s a pretty walk. I also snapped a picture so you can see just how well the trail cam blends into the tree. No wonder I loose them so many times. From the trail cam at the end of the driveway. We got a couple of good shots. Nothing really spectacular. Mostly, The Husband walking Bear. Then of course the mad dash when we…

Trail Cam Friday!! #TrailCam #IdahoWildlife
So, remember when I said I was moving the trail cam? I put it between the house and the barn. Look at my creative trail cam holder. And the look of “What is she doing NOW” On The Husband’s face! And half of ME! Turns out to be A PERFECT spot!!! My friends are protected from the weather. I even caught some dancin’ out there! The first few pictures were soooooo crisp and clear! I was giddy. THEN….. the FINGERPRINTS showed up. Let’s NOT name names (THE HUSBAND!) moved the camera and left behind 3 very nice fingerprints (IN THE CENTER OF THE LENS!) that made all the rest…

What’s on The Trail Cam Friday!
These pictures really show our wacky winter weather this season. Pffffffffffffftttttttt say that 3 times fast!!! One day tons of snow (Could have 16 feet this weekend!! SIXTEEN!?!?) then the rain melts the snow. Spoiler alert! We had a halfa sunshine day!! I have the pictures to prove it!! So here are our friends. Please note how big these bucks are getting. Still no sign of the moose on camera. Although we can hear them and see hoof prints……… yeah I know …. move the trail cam. I will try to remember and get out there before it’s buried under SIXTEEN feet of snow! But first…. DO you see that…

HA!! Found It!
For those of you who read the last post know that I set out my trail cams to try and catch photographs of the new bear cub that is wandering in the trees surrounding our house. Mama and cub come around daily. So, I put two trail cameras out somewhere in the 10 acre spread then promptly forgot WHERE I set them up. TWO DAYS PEOPLE!!! TWO!! But, I was able to locate both camera. The first camera the battery died the same day it went out. It had ZIP, ZERO, NADDA in photos. Nothing! The second camera I did not clear enough of the brush around it, so every…

In Case You Missed It………
So if you are new here; I recently moved from California to a mountain in Sandpoint, Idaho. Wild animals everywhere! I’m getting such amazing pictures from my trail cams. I have been giddy with my pictures of deer, turkey’s, squirrels and chipmunks. I have some amazing pictures several that have been canvas worthy. Then one day a HUGE shock for this California girl I found we had been visited by a BEAR!! In MY YARD!! A BEAR!!! A big ole cinnamon bear. WOOO. Now, greedy girl that I am I want a canvas worthy shot of the bear. DUH! Right?? So I bought myself a second trail cam. I have…
