Think Pink! October 2015 Beauty Box 5
Man I wish I could sing “it’s that time of the month again! My Beauty Box 5 has arrived!!” However, Beauty Box 5 is gone. Unfortunately, in July of 2017 Hurricane Henry hit Texas, Beauty Box 5 was one of the businesses that suffered. That makes me so sad. This months box has a great mix of products in my favorite color! Dreamitall Sleep Deep, Dream Often
nOkay, I have whined here A LOT about not being able to sleep at night. I toss and turn; I’m up I’m down. I do math; as in IF I fall asleep RIGHT NOW I can have 6 hours sleep! IF I fall asleep RIGHT NOW I can have 4 hours of sleep. Trust me this is the only time I’m good at math! I’m exhausted!! When I do sleep I don’t dream. Or I should say I never remember my dreams. Boo’s Beard
Boo’s Beard is an adorable book written by Rose Mannering and illustrated by Bethany Straker. This is a book that aims to help kids understand social disabilities like Autism and Asperger’s syndrome. While the book over simplifies Autism and Asperger’s syndrome, there is enough there to get the ball rolling on the subject. Alice is 4-years-old and doesn’t grasp Autism or Asperger’s; but it never hurts to start early explaining the meaning of facial expressions. Tom can’t read facial expressions, so he doesn’t understand the other children and they don’t understand him.
