Why pest control is so important when you own a home in Santa Monica
A lot goes into owning or renting a home. Landscaping, structural and appliance maintenance, utilities…the list is endless. One essential aspect of home care is often overlooked – preventive pest control in Santa Monica. Getting rid of bugs doesn’t suffice as pest control. Routine preventive pest control is an essential aspect of your property’s health, value, and structure, as well as to the health of the residents too, and should be carried out regularly by trusted local Pest Control Experts. Celebrate – Honor – Remember
I hope everyone is enjoying their 3-day holiday. (Mum and Kate I hope you are enjoying your Monday!) We know that Memorial Day means a 3 day weekend, but it’s important to remember the reason behind this American holiday. It’s to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. It unofficially marks the beginning of the summer (although I will need some warm dry weather first before I believe summer is here). Early Observances of Memorial Day The Civil War, which ended in the…

May 16th Photo-A-Day P
I was going to use Photo-A-Day P for paint pours. I am having so much fun with these things!! The color combinations are so COOL!!! I get all excited when I get large cells. Cells are almost like bubbles, unique and only pop up with the correct balance of Floetrol, paint, water and silicone. Floetrol (2 parts) Distilled water (1 part) I’ve also found that rubbing alcohol instead of water makes some great cells! Silicone (2 or 3 drops) Acrylic paint (1 part) I’ve started using ceramic tiles which I can wipe off easily if I don’t like the design. Paint Pour was my first choice, then I remembered I…

The main view stays basically the same when you add in fog, sun, snow or a full-on mixture of all of it the view is just spectacular.
