• What’s on The Trail Cam Friday!

    Trail Cam pictures Sandpoint Idaho

These trail cam pictures really show our wacky winter weather this season. Pffffffffffffftttttttt say that 3 times fast!!! One day tons of snow (Could have 16 feet this weekend!! SIXTEEN!?!?) then the rain melts the snow. Spoiler alert! We had a halfa sunshine day!! I have the pictures to prove it!! So here are our friends. Please note how big these bucks are getting. Still no sign of the moose on camera. Although we can hear them and see hoof prints……… yeah I know …. move the trail cam. I will try to remember and get out there before it’s buried under SIXTEEN feet of snow! But first…. DO you see that blue sky?! WOOO HOOO!! Next up is my weird shot! Does anyone else see a face?? This last shot is from the top deck and I swear I see a face! Well, that’s it for this week. I’ll be moving the trail cam again I WILL get that…

  • What’s On The Trail Cam Friday!

Trail Cam Pictures from Sandpoint Idaho

Diane, you pointed out there hasn’t been much to comment on lately. Let’s just call it L-A-Z-Y!! So, I here by designate Fridays as “what’s on the trail cam!” So, after going through 3000 (yeah, you read that correctly 3000) photos I found a few that are post-worthy. I also realized that the batteries must be low because all I have are night photo’s. We get constant traffic by this trail cam. It’s directly on the side of my craft room. I never get tired of the visitors. Here is what we got this week! Here are a few more trail-cam photos

  • HA!! Found It!

Found IT!! For those of you who read the last post know that I set out my trail cams to try and catch photographs of the new bear cub that is wandering in the trees surrounding our house. Mama and cub come around daily. So, I put two trail cameras out somewhere in the 10-acre spread then promptly forgot WHERE I set them up. TWO DAYS PEOPLE!!! TWO!! But, I was able to locate both cameras. The first camera the battery died the same day it went out. It had ZIP, ZERO, NADDA in photos. Nothing! The second camera I did not clear enough of the brush around it, so every shadow sunrise and sunset, every twig that moved made the camera snap away happily. I now have 546 shots of THIS!!! I mean, it’s a cool log and all but 546 shots worth? Naaaaaaaaaa Rosie, you are right I am the Lucille Ball of Sandpoint. Losing the cameras and…

  • Well Now……….

Y’all know I have my trail cams in different areas around the outside of the house. I have gotten so many amazing shots. Deer, turkeys, bears. I love my wildlife photos. Well Now………. Well, with the work on the deck and the new roof being put on, I had a BRILLIANT idea. I will move the trail cams farther away from the house where the animals will most likely show up. Smart? Right?? Then I can still get my wildlife pictures. It’s a win-win right?? Ummmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah. So smart. Until I realized I don’t remember where I put the cameras. Bear and I hiked around for 2.5 hours. I found one. BARELY!! Seriously, these camera’s camouflage color and harder than HECK to spot. I can’t find the 2nd camera. It is seriously hidden. Somewhere. Good news is it’s only a 10 acre lot. (bang head here) So, I am heading out yet again to hunt for the camera. OHHHHHHHHHHH wait,…

  • TriVision Clever Dog Security Cam

    Security cam

I love being able to watch the wildlife outside my door. I have trail cams set up around different areas outside but when the weather is nasty it’s REALLY nice to just look on my phone and check to see what’s outside. The TriVision Security Cam is exactly what I have been looking for. TriVision business appears to be gone. I did find a great substitute here. Y’all know I am still trying for a daytime picture of my moose! However, they are pretty stubborn and only come around at night. This camera is very cool!! First up, it’s small!! It doesn’t even look like a security camera! Less than 4″ tall and only weighs 4 OUNCES!! Yup, that’s how little this is!! It stands on it’s own or you can attach it to the base and then you can attach it to the wall. Very COOL!! This camera will hold a 128gb micro sd card or you can set…
