May 16th Photo-A-Day P
I was going to use Photo-A-Day P for paint pours. I am having so much fun with these things!! The color combinations are so COOL!!! I get all excited when I get large cells. Cells are almost like bubbles, unique and only pop up with the correct balance of Floetrol, paint, water and silicone. Floetrol (2 parts) Distilled water (1 part) I’ve also found that rubbing alcohol instead of water makes some great cells! Silicone (2 or 3 drops) Acrylic paint (1 part) I’ve started using ceramic tiles which I can wipe off easily if I don’t like the design. Paint Pour was my first choice, then I remembered I…

Y’all know how much I love my techie stuff. ESPECIALLY the hidden camera stuff. It fascinates me and well, really they are just plain COOL!! Check this camera out! It’s a LIGHTBULB Security Camera!! This lightbulb has a bunch of perks. The light arrives very well packaged. Arrives with an additional bulb extender incase you want to use the bulb in a fixture that is inset. VERY handy!! I’m impressed that folks at GERI thought of all the little things like a small pin that fits in the RESET area. The camera doesn’t even look like a camera more like a decoration. KeySmart Review #keysmart
Like everything else in my life my keyring is ridiculously full, so full I can’t stuff this jangled mess of keys into my pocket. That may not seem like a big deal but 4-year-old Alice has learned to lock to door while the NaNa takes the dog out for a potty break. Oh yeah, that sweet little face will just smile and wave at me from the other side of the glass. I promise it takes all the patience, smiles and soft pretty words I have to get that kid to open the door when she knows she’s in trouble. Having my keys in my pocket all the time is very…

The Reservoir -Emergency Water Storage System
Are you ready for a natural disaster? I live in Southern California and believe me I am always thinking about the next big earthquake. I HATE earthquakes. The earth literally MOVES, and you have no control while everything is moving under you. It seems to last forEVER, in reality only a few minutes. BUT man those are some scary minutes!! We are prepared. We have food, a lot of dry goods packed in Rubbermaid containers. We have propane, so we can cook. We have a generator for power. But really, I hadn’t thought of water. Sure we have bottled water that we stock up every Costco trip. BUT water on…
