Borrego Springs Wildflower Trip 2017
While the desert wild flowers in the quaint town of Borrego Springs California in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park are spectacular to see we found our favorite attractions to be the FULL SIZE metal sculptures scattered through the desert. They are AMAZING and awe-inspiring. The metal sculptures are HUGE! 130 full-sized creatures that are inspired by creatures that roamed the area millions of years ago. When we happened upon the first sculpture it was quite by accident. The first was this pre-historic looking bird, with details so amazing I had to touch it to see what it was made of.
