Well Now……….
Y’all know I have my trail cams in different areas around the outside of the house. I have gotten so many amazing shots. Deer, turkeys, bears. I love my wildlife photos. Well Now………. Well, with the work on the deck and the new roof being put on, I had a BRILLIANT idea. I will move the trail cams farther away from the house where the animals will most likely show up. Smart? Right?? Then I can still get my wildlife pictures. It’s a win-win right?? Ummmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah. So smart. Until I realized I don’t remember where I put the cameras. Bear and I hiked around for 2.5 hours. I found…

Studying and Camping – Is it Even Possible?
Camping is a cool way to spend a vacation, but it certainly has its limitations. For one thing, you won’t have access to many modern conveniences, not least a toilet, and for another, you will probably have to sleep on the floor. Despite this, camping is awesome fun, especially if you are an outdoorsy type who loves to sleep under the stars and drink coffee brewed over a campfire. Cheap Vacation Anyone can go camping, but if you are short of cash, it is a very cheap vacation. For this reason, camping is popular with students, as they can erect a tent pretty much anywhere and enjoy a vacation as…

FiveJoy 4 Person Pop-Up Camping Tent
I love camping in Yosemite with my family!! We go every May and we have a great week! (Well, after the ‘no-net’ withdrawals that is!) I am thrilled to add a new tent to our camping gear. Check this out! A 3 to 4-person camping tent that POPS up and ready to occupy in seconds!! Since the tent we have now takes an hour or more to put up; seconds is amazing!! I am giddy over this 4-Person Instant Pop-Up Camping Tent tent!! First it fits in a zippered pouch that lays flat. Completely flat! The tent is held together with elastic so that it doesn’t just pop up when you…

How To Have An Amazing Camping Vacation With The Kids!!
There’s nothing better than loading up the car with camping gear and taking the kids on a wild adventure outdoors for the weekend. But before you fill the trunk with tents, your camping stove and all the other essentials, there are a few things that you need to plan and do to ensure that you and the kids have a great time on your trip. Have A Family Meeting Sure, it’s tempting to book everything without asking your kids, but sitting them down in advance and asking them where they’d like to go, for how long, and what they want to do when they get there will really help you pick the right trip for…

Camping At Doheny State Beach!
Well, as much as I was looking forward to Yosemite for a week, Mother Nature had something else in mind. Rain, mud, cold weather AND a 3-year-old?! I don’t THINK so!! We tent camp. So imagine all that mud in the tent after say ohhhh the first 5 minutes? Yeah, NOT happin’!! So, instead we loaded up the 2016 Kia Sorento and drove up the coast to Doheny State Beach for our week of tent camping. The Kia Sorento SXL V6 AWD was the PERFECT vehicle for camping!! Not only does this puppy let me load it up with TONS of gear but, once it was unloaded it was our…

Mazda5 Grand Touring Wrap UP!
I had the ultimate pleasure of driving a Mazda5 Grand Touring to Yosemite. The Mazda5 is a true delight to drive!! The car drives smoothly! The handling is amazing. It drives like a small car with all the features of a large family car. The greatest feature for me? 25.5 miles per gallon MOUNTAIN driving!! That’s OUTSTANDING!! I love the amount of room in this car!! 3 rows of seating!! We took the Mazda5 on our day trips, 4 adults and a toddler in a carseat and still room in the back for picnic lunch, stroller and day packs! More to love:Sunroof. Double Sliding Doors (the greatest invention ever!!) EASY…
