Photo’s On Canvas! My FAVORITE Way To Decorate
If you know me via the Internet or in real life, you KNOW I love taking pictures. I love to decorate with my photo’s on canvas. I would say 99% of the art in my home consists of photos I’ve taken. There is Idaho and of course family photos. If you follow me on Instagram (no?? Why not? I’m funny! But, mostly my view is spectacular! AND there’s a DOG!!) I’ve taken so many photos from my deck that overlooks Lake Ponderay. This view! I STILL can’t believe I live here! No matter how many pictures I take of this view each one is different. Then the wildlife! Oh MAN.…

Finally, Trail Cam Friday AGAIN!!
It’s been a long time since I have posted my Trail Cam Friday. But, 2 of the cameras have fresh batteries and are ready to go. Looks like this year we’ve got lots of boys!! Spring I’m hoping they drop those sheds so I CAN find them. I’m calling dibs. RIGHT NOW. Set Up A Trail Cam EVERYWHERE! Aren’t these boys pretty?!?! When To Hunt For Sheds? Bucks shed their antlers annually in late winter, usually from January through March, but the exact timing can vary depending on a number of factors: Photoperiod As days get longer after the winter solstice, testosterone levels decrease, which causes the connection tissue in…

Trail Cam Friday August 21, 2020
Yes, Trail Cam Friday is a little late. I forgot to grab the sticks out of the cameras last night…. and well, you’ve seen my YARD!! I’m not going out there in the dark. Nope, nope. I’m brave from the deck. I love getting my bears pictures but meet face to face? Naaaaaaaaa not so much!! 1st camera I want you to notice that the camera lens has been cleaned! How cute is this fawn??!?! 2nd Camera A VERY GOOD REASON not to go out at night to get the sticks out of the cameras!! ACKKKk!! Not a lot of great shots. But, it’s been super hot out side. Everyone…

Trail Cam Friday 8/14/2020
First a shout out to Miss Barbra!! Happy BIRTHDAY!!! Now, on to the photos. I thought I would start with the new Trail Cam from Coolife. I’m impressed with the pictures! The spot is pretty good too. Apparently, it’s a deer-only path because that is ALL this camera picked up. But it picked up a couple of great shots of the fawn! The second trail cam is set up on the side of the house pointing down toward the lake. This camera I hadn’t checked in quite a long time. This one picked up turkeys the most, followed by our girl Bear, a real bear, some deer and a mystery…

Trail Cam Friday July 9th
I just have to laugh! THIS time I had a few animals but have thousands, YES, thousands of leaf trail cam pictures!! Every time the wind blew, this leaf moved, the camera took a picture. Yes, that’s 18 folders each with 999 pictures. I would say 98% of the pictures are of that leaf. It’s like the camera and Mother Nature were so proud of their Decorating With Earth Tones that they both wanted tons of pictures. So, pretty leaf right!?!? Ackkkkkkkkkk!! Moving camera tonight. We did have a few deer, bunnies and turkeys swing by. No bears. At least I don’t believe there were bears, could be some behind…

Trail Cam Friday April 17
Seriously, these animals are NOT cooperating with the whole Trail Cam Friday premise! WHAT THE HECK!?!? Do they not understand that I need some real pictures??? I may cut back on their corn if they aren’t more cooperative. The night shot is only because of the littttttle tiny white something in the bottom right. There also was an operator error in one camera. ONE camera you move the switch to the right to turn it on. The other, you guessed it … to the left. So one trail cam wasn’t on at ALL. I can not win! BTW the whole to the left to the right thing….. I have to…

Trail Cam Friday April 9
Well, trail cam Friday is NOT cooperating this week. The most interesting shot was this one! Ahhh the elusive UPS truck. Of course, turkey’s always want their pictures taken. So at least there is that………… All is not lost when I have my camera with me on my hikes. Soooooo here are a few shots I snapped this week as I hiked. Remember the wind storm that we had in March? We lost 30 some trees. BIG 70′ plus trees. To give you an idea of the size of roots I took a picture of my hand with the root. Seriously, the holes that these pulled up trees are DEEP!…

Trail Cam Friday
Moved the trail cam and STILL have boring photo’s. Except of course when The Husband and I were walking Bear and realized we were in front of the camera. TRUE wildlife RIGHT?!?!? Remember the to-do list I was so proud of??? Wanna guess how many things I have crossed off so far? Zip, zero, NADDA!!! So badly I wish that I wrote ‘print list’ cause I did do that and I could have crossed it off. Oh well. Next week maybe the trail cam will capture someTHING! Anything! Hope you are all well. Stay inside and go wash your hands.
